The greatest day in history
Death is beaten
You have rescued me
Sing it out Jesus is alive!
The empty cross, The empty grave
Life eternal You have won the day
Shout it out Jesus is alive, He's alive!
St Gerard's church being filled up for Easter Sunday mass.\o/
The participants of the School of Missions presenting their skit on "Sin & Salvation" at the end of the mass. It was very moving for us to witness the skit because we know that in many real ways, each of the participants have experienced the saving grace of the Lord Jesus in their own lives.
After mass, we continued to give thanks to God through a time of praise and worship. Some participants of the School, namely, Marilyn (keyboard), Tom (guitar) and Lacy (vocals) were involved in leading worship and they all did very well as a team. Well done guys!! \o/\o/\o/
You washed my sin away!
Oh happy day, happy day,
I'll never be the same
Forever I am changed!
Florence, one of the participants on the School gave her testimony of how God changed her heart and brought reconciliation and peace in her life.
Jess, another participant, witnessed to the reality and power of God's unconditional love and acceptance in transforming her view of self and her life. How precious is God's work!
John and Mely blessed us with a sign language dance which they had created specially for this Easter celebration.
What a party!
Our wonder chefs led by Chairny prepared a magnificent spread to bless our guests and our community. Our exceptionally creative Mely led her team to set up and decorate the dining hall as well as the church. Lucienne also blessed us with a variety of beautiful cakes.
Everything was done with excellence - befitting of the King whom we honour!
Thanks to our friends, the Dowle family, for organising the hunt :-)
Happy faces on a Most Happy day!
Oh what a glorious day
What a glorious way
That You have saved me
Oh what a glorious day
What a glorious name
YEAHHH!!!!!
PRAISE JESUS OUR RISEN LORD AND SAVIOUR FOREVER AND EVER, AMEN!!!
