At the close of the Pentecost Sunday mass, participants performing their sign language and flag dance to the World Youth Day song "Receive the Power"
Every nation, every tribe
come together to worship You
We will follow to the ends of the earth!
we will answer and do Your will
We'll forever testify
of Your mercy and unfailing love!
As part of our special celebration on Pentecost Sunday, Petrus testified about the transforming work of the Holy Spirit in his life.
Thereafter we had a time of reflection and prayer.
It was wonderful to behold so many people coming forward in response to our invitation, to surrender personal areas of struggle to the Lord and to receive prayer for more of the transforming grace of the Holy Spirit in their lives. There was such a beautiful atmosphere of faith and prayer as the Holy Spirit moved among us and breathed His life and grace upon open hearts. May this community of believers who gather every Sunday for mass at St Gerard's shine brighter and brighter for Christ!

We were glad to be reunited with our buddies from "The Way" youth group in Lower Hutt whom we met last month. It was great to see them enjoying themselves praising and dancing during our Friday worship night and at our Sunday special celebration too! \o/
This Pentecost Sunday we also celebrated the 7th anniversary of the Pontifical Recognition of the ICPE Mission as a Lay association of Christ's faithful. Thus on Pentecost Sunday evening, we had dinner together as community and also took some time to recall our "God stories" throughout our ICPE years.
Spontaneous dancing!
Na..na..na..na...na...na
Every move I make I make in You, You make me Jesus!
