We spent our first evening at St Joseph’s parish with the young people and we were pretty chuffed with the good turnout. Quite a few of them continued to support us throughout the week, attending our parish seminars and are now planning to join us for our next worship night on 25 June. Cool!
We spent Sunday evening with our migrant brothers and sisters, encouraging them to continue hoping and trusting in God’s faithfulness as they settle into a new country and community.
We also shared a message of hope with another group of parishioners and supported them with prayer. Thank You Lord that we are not alone on our journey. \o/\o/
Of course there was no missing out on our younger brothers and sisters at St Joseph’s primary school!
During the week, we had 3 morning sessions for the daily mass crowd. Thanks be to God for this inspiration for we were able to reach out to parishioners who would not otherwise be able to join us for the evening seminars. We shared with them on the Father’s love, forgiveness and the power of prayer.
The 3 evenings of parish seminars were times of renewing faith and of healing brokenness and restoring hope.
Greater things have yet to come,
greater things are still to be done in this place,
Come Lord Jesus!
what a special blessing for us to meet Mark Dol's parents! :-)
So amazing that you guys are doing such wonder in NZ. Seeing these pictures, we get excited again remembering the good time we spent in St. Gerald's. We like your T-shirt very much - the design, the different color. Cool!
