Preparing for the School!

The School is 2 weeks away and the community and school staff have been busy preparing to welcome and serve the 11 participants who will make their 5-month journey at our home and mission base at St Gerard's Monastery.

This year we have Lacy (Canadian), Joseph (Nigerian), Edwin (Indonesian), Tom (British), Jess and Jolene (New Zealanders), Florence and Marilyn (Singaporeans), Eun Sook, Ji Eun and Sua Kim (Koreans) attending the School.

Please pray for their visa applications to be approved and for their remaining time in their countries to be peaceful and joyful. Pray for us too that we be united and guided by the Holy Spirit in all that we do.

During last Friday's intercession, we were reminded that through the School - a gift from God to us - He wants to do a precious work in our own hearts and thus we are called to let our hearts be tilled and worked over by the God of compassion, so that we can be ready for the new harvest God has in store for us. Thank you Jesus!
Here's also a peek at what's been happening around our home :-)
